Kyle is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley majoring in Molecular Environmental Biology. From there, she headed to Colorado State University for veterinary school. She fell in love with the diagnosis and treatment of animal eye conditions, and decided to pursue an ophthalmology residency. She completed her rotating internship at the University of Florida and an ophthalmology specialty internship at BluePearl in Sarasota/Clearwater, Florida. She will be staying with BluePearl for an ophthalmology residency, which starts in July 2022. She is particularly interested in research related to corneal and retinal diseases. Outside of her veterinary career, Kyle is an avid runner, enjoys spending time by the ocean, traveling, skiing, live music, and finding new health-food recipes. She has one adorable cat at home named Summer.
