Dr. Allison Ludwig received her BS in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 2015. She is a 2023 graduate of the UW-Madison DVM/PhD program and studied cell replacement therapy for outer retinal degenerative disease in the Gamm laboratory while earning her PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences. She will complete her small animal rotating internship at Michigan State University in June 2024 and begin her residency in comparative ophthalmology at UW-Madison in July 2024. Her research interests include inherited retinal diseases, feline chronic uveitis, and translational research.
